About as done as it will get for the time being. It's theme ties into the NIИ album "Year Zero". The original thought tied in to "In This Twilight", which also bled into pieces of "Zero Sum".
Not enough time to do what I wanted... but that's for now. (note that I will let it refresh in your devwatch on any "major" revisions)
100% vector done in Inkscape.
This picture was inspired by and done with reference from igotmyviolence (an undedited version) by =Demonotica. (was used as reference with her permission).
(as with most things, I do them for the purpose of wallpapers for whatever my desktop dimensions are for that time)
congratulations on making that horrifying picture look GORGEOUS. the vector work is awesome, it's really impressive. the background, the hair, wow. the skin, the wow.
wowwww.
thanks so much, and this is really, really cool. it's like..... really amazing. woww.
Oh, it's no less vector than an object with a gradient or transparency... people don't seem to complain about gradient meshes, which are blending point of raster color. Honestly, they're all raster operations on a vector object, and they're completely scalable without degradation.
If you read the SVG, it's no different than other parts of the svg file... a bunch of parameters which allow for scalability.

my glass is half empty but my bottles half full.
I'm glad that you like it so much... honestly, when it comes to doing stuff like this, the opinion of the subject at hand is what matters the most.

if you used gaussian blur filter this is not 100% vector
