Wow this is soooo good. I was about to ask the same question: How do you do the hair? I have a basic grasp of how to do sub-path stitching, but I just can't get the hair to look natural when I do it. Is there a way to make the thickness vary so the tips of the hair meet at a sharp point? Or is the only option to convert those strokes to paths and manually tweak the nodes?
thanks about the hair... agreed on the eyebrows. I could only do so much in that last day before it was due. Once the about contest is officially over I will upload something I feel more proud of.
i guess i didn't really have time to look at it till now..i see what you meant about the haze/cold. her hair looks awesome, you gotta teach me that sometime...although her eyelashes look a little stiff..eventhough it is cold..maybe i can warm her up.
I am actually planning on doing a short tutorial on hair, eyelashes, and eyebrows with Live Path Effects in inkscape here in the near future.
