Greeting to the community, After 5 months of bug fixing and vacation delays out of our control, the Inkscape Community is proud to announce that Inkscape 0.48.2 is out. Inkscape is an Open Source vector graphics editor, with capabilities similar to Illustrator, CorelDraw, or Xara X, using the W3C standard Scalable Vector Graphics (SVG) file format. This is our second bug fix release for 0.48 and it contains over 50 bug fixes to improve stability and functionality on all platforms. --The pain of knowing and not just assuming-- In the never ending debate about how features in different applications and file formats work, we're now at a point of needing to journal about this apparently. Hey! On the screenshot- the toolbar of the dev version (Ted's PPA) I am using has the same 98 looking toolbar (only difference is Ubuntu) and apparently his recent build failed, just checked Launchpad- said he'd have it up soon though. Any other PPA pre 2 for Jaunty you know of with a better toolbar?
Grrr to Jaunty. I'm trying to track down another build for you, but nagged Ted too. :)
